About this generator
Calculating with time is tricky because an hour has 60 minutes, not 100. These worksheets practise adding and subtracting hours and minutes, finding end times and working out how long something takes. Word problems use timetables, film showings, football matches and school days. Easier levels use whole and half hours; harder levels cross the hour and require converting minutes to hours. The answer key is calculated by the website, so it always matches the tasks, and every word problem answer includes the correct unit. No sign-up is needed and no personal data is collected.
